설명

패시브 프로브는 대부분의 오실로스코프와 함께 제공되는 표준 프로브다. 일반적인 패시브 프로브는 10:1 감쇠를 제공하며 10 MΩ의 높은 입력 저항을 특징으로 한다. 이 높은 입력 저항은 이러한 주파수에서 회로 부하가 최소화되기 때문에 패시브 프로브가 저주파 신호에 이상적인 도구라는 것을 의미한다. 패시브 프로브는 최소 400V, 일부는 600V의 전압을 처리하도록 설계되었다. Teledyne LeCroy 패시브 프로브에는 사용자 입력이 필요 없는 파형을 자동으로 스케일링하도록 오실로스코프에 알려주는 감쇠 감지 핀이 있다.

각 패시브 프로브는 특정 오실로스코프에 권장되며, 올바른 오실로스코프가 있는 우측 패시브 프로브를 사용하면 프로브가 전체 대역폭에서 적절하게 보정될 수 있다. 다른 오실로스코프가 있는 프로브를 사용하면 저주파만 보정할 수 있다.
